This Volkswagen Golf 5 2.0 TDI lowered on air suspension came to us to overhaul his chassis. Such an upgrade makes a car corner tighter, gives you more feedback from the road and makes the car more predictable. All the rubbers in the chassis were replaced by Whiteline polyurethane rubbers. We also inspected a problem with the air suspension which we solved for the client. Another request was, to give his car more power. We created a KCPerformance stage 3 chiptune, enlarged his turbo to a hybrid GT1756 and removed his cat to raise the performance to 235hp and 480Nm. This VW Golf MK5 can now enjoy his tight chassis without giving in on comfort. The chassis gives you sharp handling characteristics, something you don't expect from a car on air suspension. And together with the gain in performance it became a real low hot hatch.
