KCPerformance was assigned by a business customer to rebuild the engine of this BMW 320Si. Most companies choose to replace the short block by an identical part from BMW, KCPerformance chooses for our own developed pistons and placement of stronger (steel) walls that are milled and placed in the aluminium engine.
This solution is highly reliable on the long term and the known oil consumption is eliminated. The chance of engine damage therefore is practically impossible. The N45 engine from BMW is known for having soft cylinder walls that can crack and crumble.
