KCPerformance isn't just THE reference for all your tuning-supplies and -modifications, we are also specialized in diagnosis of problems and finding the solution to solve the problem. That is why this VW Polo 1.6 TDI came to us with his EGR problems. The problem couldn't be solved, except when they would install an entire new EGR system wich is expensive and could fail again just like this unit did. That is why this sore spot, the EGR valve, was removed.

After the EGR delete we modified the software so that the board computer will never show an error regarding the EGR system. However the car stayed in "limp home" mode regarding an error on the common-rail. After some diagnostics and checking some sensors we noticed that the Volkswagen dealer had routed a fuel line in 180 degrees corner wich folded the line shut. We repositioned the fuel line and all the problems were solved.

The car could be picked up by the owner, who could now enjoy his Volkswagen Polo 5 1.6 TDI without returning EGR problems. Isn't it great when a problem can be solved cheaper AND permanent?
